From 17 November to 11 January, Watergate Bay Hotel will transform its car park into a covered festive playground. 

The new ice rink forms the centrepiece of Skate by the Sea, an unmissable addition to Cornwall’s festive calendar. Skate sessions run daily, with something for everyone – from family times with penguin skate aids for children, to quieter accessible sessions, school groups and even private hire for Christmas parties.  

For the ultimate festive escape, Watergate Bay’s Stay and Skate package includes a skating session for each guest for every night of your stay when you book on a bed-and-breakfast and dinner-inclusive basis. Guests booking the hotel’s Christmas or New Year House Party packages will also find skating seamlessly woven into the celebrations – alongside sea dips, cliff-path walks, carols, cocktails, Champagne and DJ sets. Off the ice, the après-skate vibe is in full flow.
