Some Interesting Mixes – Enjoy!

Copperfish Distillery are now entering their seventh year and continue to focus on great tasting, truly authentic Cornish drinks.

At the heart of what they do is great taste and quality. Rob, the distiller works tirelessly to create the best drinks they can by keeping to a simple mantra “proper spirits made proper” which in essence means they don’t cut corners and use the best ingredients and methods they can. Having established their credentials with an award-winning range of spirits including rums, moonshines, gins and Kerbon®, a Cornish “Bourbon” Style Spirit, we thought it would be interesting to delve into some great ways to enjoy these fabulous drinks.

Here, we showcase some of the easy to create cocktails which do not require any specialist equipment items and difficult to obtain ingredients.

 

Kerbon Sour

50ml Copperfish Kerbon
35ml lemon juice
12½ml sugar syrup
2 dashes Angustora Bitters
Cherry
Ice

Whiskey tumbler

Add ingredients to the glass and stir. You can add egg white for a smoother finish.

 

Sloe Royale  

35ml Looe Sloe Gin
70ml sparkling wine (e.g. Prosecco)
Spoon of frozen mixed berries
Ice

Champagne flute

Add the frozen berries and ice to the flute, add the sloe gin and top up with sparkling wine.

 

 Toffee Apple Shine

50ml Copperfish Salted Caramel Moonshine
100ml dry cider
Wedge of apple
Ice

Whiskey tumbler

Add ingredients to the glass and stir.
