Something to celebrate

Porthleven Jewellery Workshop celebrates an amazing five years of putting smiles on faces and sparkles on fingers.

Jewellers are the perfect places to visit if you are celebrating key milestones and anniversaries, so it’s only right that we commemorate a very special occasion: the fifth birthday of Porthleven Jewellery Workshop on Porthleven’s picturesque harbourside, led by husband and wife team, Paul and Clair Pennington.

“… the go-to destination for friendly and reliable advice and service, to complement the beautiful range of all things sparkly.”

Over the last half-decade, Paul and Clair have established their wonderful independent jewellers as the go-to destination for friendly and reliable advice and service, to complement the beautiful range of all things sparkly. Like any business, they’ve had challenges along the way, but what has remained constant is the warm welcome you always receive upon entering, the expertise and quality that speaks for itself.

Step inside and you’ll find stunning jewellery, watches and accessories for both her and him; eminent international brands sit side by side with unique bespoke items created by the talented in-house team. The brand new displays feature even more designs and fine wristwatches by Zeppelin and Junkers. These premium German-made watches are of excellent quality and value for money, with self-winding automatic or battery driven quartz movements available.

There’s also a great selection of quality pearl necklaces and earrings in different styles, both traditional and modern, as well as bracelets and find bridal jewellery to fit outfits.

Alongside replacement battery fitting, the Jewellery Workshop carries out in-house repairs on all types of jewellery. In addition to the existing contemporary designs made in-house and by local artists, you can commission your very own unique pieces in any precious metal – perfect if you would like bespoke wedding rings and engagement rings made just for you.

In fact, what could be more romantic than making your own rings? Just across the harbour on the Breageside, you’ll find the original workshop where the business first began – it’s still used today for wonderful jewellery making classes and courses. We say this with confidence, having tried it ourselves – honestly, we can’t remember having so much fun, even those in the office who least expected it! The little workshop is currently being redesigned into a creative art space, by art students from Cornwall College.

So whatever the occasion, from a new arrival to a ruby wedding anniversary, make sure you add a bit of sparkle at Porthleven Jewellery Workshop.
