Summer Cocktails

As summer advances, the Rock Distillery team has come up with some truly fabulous cocktails for you to savour.

Alongside its extensive collection of gins, rums, whiskies, brandies and vodkas, Rock Distillery has created a range of perfect instant cocktails and long, refreshing drinks to enjoy in the garden.

Why not relax outdoors with Rock Distillery’s Lemongino liqueur, made with fresh lemons and a lick of sugar, topped up with either lemonade or Mediterranean tonic and served over plenty of ice? It is simply delightful on a sunny afternoon. For something a little more indulgent, top it up with Champagne or Prosecco for the must-have summer aperitif. The same treatment works wonderfully with Rock Distillery’s Orangino, made with fresh oranges and mandarins.

Many of Rock Distillery’s rums lend themselves perfectly to simple cocktails. Why not try Coconut Paradise with pineapple juice for a Piña Colada like no other? The rich coconut flavour instantly transports you to a tropical, palm-fringed island. Another excellent choice is Tropics Mango & Passion Fruit Rum. Topped with Champagne or Prosecco, it creates a fabulous twist on a Porn Star Martini.

For those who prefer something a little darker, try a classic Dark ‘n’ Stormy made using Rock Distillery’s Dark Spiced Pineapple Rum and ginger beer.

Rock Distillery also offers a range of liqueurs that are perfect enjoyed on their own or paired together to create something a little different. Their ever-popular Brandy Snap Liqueur, when combined with Rock Distillery’s Coffee Liqueur, creates a delicious cocktail affectionately named the “Snapachino”.

Another exciting addition to the range is the rum-based Hot Honey Liqueur, which is excellent served with ginger ale. However, the team has also devised a new cocktail called the “Hotfizz” – Hot Honey Liqueur topped with Prosecco for a sparkling kick.

Rock Distillery’s Pink Grapefruit Vodka Liqueur topped with either Champagne or Prosecco makes a wonderfully refreshing Pink Mimosa. Give them all a try and let us know your favourite.

For a lovely long gin cocktail, why not try the delectable Sublime Lime, infused with a hint of mint? Paired with Mexican lime soda, it creates a refreshing gin-based mojito-style drink that is perfect for warm summer evenings.

If you missed Alan Titchmarsh: Love Your Weekend, cocktail expert Andy Clarke showcased a delicious pairing featuring Rock Distillery’s Banana Blast and Toffee Vodka Liqueur. The result? The Banoffee Bon Bon – a truly irresistible treat.
