El Camino reaches ten years of celebrating travel through its unique bracelets and necklaces.

El Camino Bracelets are now a decade into producing beautiful, customisable travel jewellery for over 75,000 travel lovers worldwide. The company started when owners, Candace and Tom, were hiking the coastline between Barcelona and Monaco in 2013. Here they had the idea for a bracelet that could record their travels, adventures and experiences. Upon return, they began to handmake a few of the bracelets they’d talked about, using beads engraved by a local craftsman to show the destinations and dates of adventures that the wearer had been on. Ten years have passed since the first drawings of an El Camino bracelet were created in a tent on the Costa Brava in Spain, and the company headquarters is now on the north coast of Cornwall. However, there is also a lot that hasn’t changed; El Camino products are still handmade in the UK, almost all of the original employees and suppliers are still part of the team and environmental sustainability remains at the core of the business. The success over the last ten years has enabled El Camino to raise over £17,000 for charities including World Land Trust, NHS Charities, Surfers Against Sewage and Cool Earth.
