“I’ve been running my café and bistro, Tim’s Place, for the last seven years – since I was 18 years old. We’re open seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunches and light bites from our bistro menu. Our homemade cakes, pastries and tarts are freshly baked and we use Cornish produce from the town’s butchers, bakery and grocers, maintaining our ethos that it’s the best taste in Cornwall,” explains Tim.

Not just restricted to day-time dining, Tim’s Supper Club takes place on selected dates throughout the year allowing the team to showcase their favourite dishes in unique food night’s that take place in the bistro’s relaxed and casual environment – allowing you to sit back and let the food do the talking. As well as the Supper Club, Tim also offers a unique private dining service. “Private dining is our latest venture and allows us to provide the restaurant experience in your own home.” Tim continues: “I completely tailor-make these evenings around our clients’ favourite food, previous private dining events have included dinner parties in the winter and wedding catering in the spring and summer.”
