opens customers up to a whole world of wonderful taste experiences, from the quirky to the decadent and everything in between.”

As a registered excise dealer and shipper, the imported wines show flare and insight in the market, with regular small parcels of stunning offers arriving at the shop. In their quest to educate, the team have hosted bespoke, onsite festivals every year for everything from gin, craft beer and cider, to rum and tequila, as well as numerous day events.

This really is a superb Cornish business, made great by the lovely bunch of characters who are always on hand to serve and advise. They pride themselves on demystifying the incredible array of choice in today’s drinks market, making the experience fun for anybody who steps across the threshold and upholding an exemplary depth of understanding. The offering at Wadebridge Wines is both impressive and extensive, so the team’s ability to gently educate and make their wines more intriguing opens customers up to a whole world of wonderful taste experiences, from the quirky to the decadent and everything in between.

In each week of August, Wadebridge Wines are promoting two West Country artisan gin distilleries, offering visitors the chance to meet the men and women behind our much beloved Cornish spirits and indulge in a sample (or two!). These are interspersed with appearances from local beer and cider companies, then on the August bank holiday, Wadebridge Wines’ car park will play host to the popular FAR (Folk, Acoustic, Roots) Stage of the Cornwall Folk Festival!

As autumn rolls around the team have a series of master classes planned, culminating in the spectacular annual wine tasting at the Royal Cornwall Showground in November, appealing to the Duchy’s oenophiles.

Serving the beautiful county of Cornwall through their retail premises at Wadebridge and supplying trade businesses across the county, Wadebridge Wines is open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday.
