Cornwall LivingExplore Roseland

A tranquil escape

Experience the beauty of the Roseland from a luxury log cabin, the perfect spot from which to explore this stunning area.

Located near Portscatho on the tip of the Roseland peninsula, Trewince Holiday Lodges provide the perfect base from which to explore this stunning area of Cornwall. Discover hidden coves with crystal clear waters, experience the beauty of the heritage coast and taste the flavours of Cornwall, then after your day of adventures, return to the tranquillity of Trewince. Owner Kathy Manlove tells us: “Trewince has been run as a family business since 1985 and we pride ourselves on giving our guests the relaxing break that we all need in this busy life.”

“Being tucked away on the southerly tip of the Roseland affords us the all important peace and quiet that really makes a difference when you’re on holiday”

The holiday park is nestled within the land of a Georgian Manor House and boasts 26 acres of grounds to explore with beautiful woodland; it’s own private quay and incredible sea views. The surrounding countryside is nothing short of idyllic and the prime position that Trewince has on the Roseland peninsula allows you to enjoy far-reaching views of the English Channel. Kathy continues: “Being tucked away on the southerly tip of the Roseland affords us the all important peace and quiet that really makes a difference when you’re on holiday. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are a rural, tranquil site in a picturesque location, far away from any crowds.” So, if you want to get away from it all then this is the place for you.

At Trewince Holiday Lodges the team of staff strive to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. With this in mind, as a guest you have complimentary access to all Leisure Club facilities, including a 13-metre heated indoor swimming pool, children’s splash pool and a sauna housed within a beautiful barn like building. Or, relax after a day outdoors in the Coach House Bar and Café, serving pastries, pasties, cream teas and Roskilly’s Cornish ice-cream, as well as a range of beverages, including a selection of local ales and ciders.

The lodges themselves have been finished beautifully, each have open plan living, a master en-suite and separate family bathroom. There’s also a private deck area outside with fantastic views of Gerrans Bay, the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine as the sun descends.
