This year saw Aloft come under new ownership and is set to see the addition of plenty of exciting new brands with an emphasis on a recycled and sustainable beach lifestyle. The team wants to support independent suppliers, of which many are based in Europe, where they are able to trace the journey of their products, from the moment of manufacture to the final placement on the shelves in The Aloft Shop. Supporting these smaller producers ensures that Aloft can offer the freshest products to their customers, helping them survive and thrive, in a time where bigger online retailers often dominate the retail market and take trade away from the local high street.

A new and exciting venture will soon see Aloft entering into partnership with Will Bees Bespoke, a Devon based company that makes personalised accessories. This means there will be a Will Bees shop within Aloft, where their unique ‘personalise whilst you wait’ service will be offered, and where you’ll find a variety of their best products, including handbags, clutch purses, wash bags and other gifts. Everything will be handmade in the UK and supplied to Aloft direct from their workshop in Salcombe.
