THE RELUCTANT DRAGON – Trebah Garden
Quantum Theatre presents an enchanting adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s story The Reluctant Dragon – a touching, sweet and funny tale of bravery, friendship and adventure.
THE SEA SHOW – Trebah Garden
Celebrate the sea with tall tales, silly slapstick, fantastic facts, live music and songs – unmissable fun for children and adults of all ages. Created by Craig Johnson, an actor, musician and puppeteer, and a long-standing member of Cornwall’s Miracle Theatre.

PORT ELIOT FESTIVAL – Port Eliot Estate
Take part in treasure hunts with a cast of costumed characters or become a pirate for the weekend! Adventure and excitement lurk behind every corner.With a dedicated children’s area there are loads of workshops and even bedtime stories.
CREATIVE CREATURES – Antony House and Garden
Forage for curious natural objects in the garden and have a go at creating
a crafty masterpiece to take home. Turn a pine cone into a spider’s body, make a fantastical creature from a pile of leaves or transform rose petals into a butterfly.

A roof-raising stark-raving sing-along satire! Inspired by Alfred Jarry’s riot-inducing masterpiece. Kneehigh will wind-up and let rip their own version of theatre’s most anarchic creation – King UBU

New for Asylum 2018, a skippity-hopping tale based on Quentin Blake’s famous story and directed by Mike Shepherd.

THE CHERRY ORCHARD – Around Cornwall
Performed by Miracle Theatre, Bill Scott’s new adaptation of Chekhov’s bittersweet comedy promises to engage audiences of all ages, with touring dates across Cornwall this summer.
SCRAWW – Trebah Garden
An original production commissioned by Trebah and created by artists from Cornwall, London and New York. A promenade performance taking place on foot around the garden. Take the epic quest to find the legendary Simorgh bird in this feather-fuelled, technically immersive adventure into Persian poetry.
PUNCH AND JUDY LIVE – Trebah Garden
Carnon Downs Drama brings you the real thing, a live performance of murder and mayhem. Appallingly funny and dreadfully frightful!

NATIVE EXPLORERS – Newquay Zoo
With animal face painting and a nature colouring booklet full of questions and interesting facts, let the team of presenters educate you and the family with talks throughout the day. From lions to penguins, there’s something to interest everybody!
