Only half a mile from Germoe, on a 15 acre smallholding (sheep, friendly collie dogs, chickens) deep in ancient flower-filled lanes, a single-storey cottage, particularly well converted from the 18th century, with stone barns, solar panels, a small wind turbine and 21st century insulation make this cottage very comfortable and ecologically friendly. There are lovely walks from the door up National Trust Tregoning Hill (views to north and south coasts) and to the National Trust Godolphin Estate (555 acres). From around the cottage there are fantastic panoramic views to the sea at Mounts Bay and the whole of this end of the peninsula. To the front and back, large paved enclosed areas with tables/chairs both sides to catch the sun, and, beyond, sheep-grazed meadows, hedgerows and birdsong.

Inside, there’s lots of room with stone and tiled floors with rugs, high ceilings and exposed beams. Wonderfully tranquil, comfortable cottage.
