A Cornish business with family at its core, Holiday Home Waste Collection has come a long way since its inception in 2016.

Holiday Home Waste Collection specialises in the collection and appropriate disposal of waste and recycling from both domestic and commercial properties. It was founded after Cornwall Council announced that holiday home waste would henceforth be classed as ‘commercial’. This meant that owners would have to sign into 12-month contracts, with very little flexibility and often no collection days coinciding with changeovers.

The company ethos is one that aims to make collections as easy and as flexible as possible. Testament to this is the new company website, which makes booking collections as easy as clicking a button. What’s more, the team serve both the north and south coast, and can arrange collections on different changeover days, which has really helped take the pressure off owners who want to ensure new guests arrive to a clean and tidy home-from-home.

Even throughout the recent lockdown, the team were busy clearing waste and helping owners get set for the Christmas period. They did so in conjunction with sister company, Cornwall Wheelie Bin Cleaning, which Jennifer decided to launch after noticing a rise in need for such services. Now with their own specialist van, which is fitted with a machine to hoist and empty the bins, between them, these two stellar Cornish companies not
only ensure your waste is cleared as often as you need it to be, they also handle the cleaning of the bins themselves, leaving them smelling fresh and germ-free. 

As we look ahead to the winter, having hired more staff over the summer and with two bases in Wadebridge and Redruth, Holiday Home Waste Collection is in a great position to continue providing excellent service across the whole of Cornwall. But not just that; Jennifer and the team have recently invested in more vans, and we even hear that they are now planning to expand into north Devon!

Approved or licensed by The Green Organisation, the Environment Agency, South West Water and others, and having already nurtured a sterling reputation among both domestic and commercial clients around the Duchy, it seems that Holiday Home Waste Collection is by no means resting on its laurels. In fact, it’s fair to say that 2021 is set to be another impressive year for this exemplary Cornish firm.
