Escape the autumn chill

As summer inexorably fades to autumn and the days start to draw in, we still want to be close to the sea, but perhaps within reach of a menu full of hearty autumnal flavours and a wine list that promises to warm the cockles.

Located right on the harbour front in the quintessentially Cornish fishing village of Porthleven, The Square specialises in matching wine to seasonal dishes in order to create the ultimate dining experience.

In fact, the team is pleased to announce the unveiling of a brand new wine list which, come winter time, will be the centre of their all-new wine evenings – perfect as we all begin looking for indoor pursuits during the darker, cooler evenings.

Open daily from 11am and serving food until 4pm in September, The Square strikes the perfect balance between sea views and cool-weather comfort, so be sure to pencil in a visit!
