We hear from Abby Keverne, Head of Marketing, who tells us: “From Friday 24th until Monday 27th May, we’ll be making the most of summer’s early arrival in Cornwall with a whole host of revelries, so pull up a pew and come join us!”
A Friday tradition at The Alverton and beyond, the £8.95 fish and chip offer runs every Friday from midday until 6pm. Everybody knows that fish, chips and a chilled glass of bubbles go together perfectly, so to kick-start your weekend The Alverton will be including the fizz on them!
The Alverton afternoon tea is something to be savoured. Throughout the extended weekend, gather your friends and take high tea on the terrace, from 2.30pm until 5.30pm every day. Usually priced at £15 per person, this weekend it will be just £15 for two people. Expect delicate finger sandwiches, delicious sweet treats and fresh from the oven scones, served alongside a pot of Cornish loose leaf tea or a glass of something sparkling and you’re set for the afternoon.
Every Thursday evening, The Alverton bar is the place to be in Truro, with two cocktails for £10. So why stop at Thursday? Over the late May bank holiday, cocktail o’clock is being extended throughout the weekend after 5pm until Monday 27th May! Bar Manager Alex and his talented team are at the ready, expertly mixing a tempting range of cocktails – from fruity concoctions to heady classics. Cheers to that.
