Rings, things and fine array
Don’t miss this year’s Ringing the Changes exhibition at Victoria Sewart Contemporary Jewellery Gallery.
Established in 2006, this unique jewellery gallery stands apart from the crowd, showcasing the extraordinary work from over 50 British designers. From engagement and wedding rings to bold statement necklaces and the occasional ground-breaking piece, there will always be a piece of jewellery here for the discerning buyer looking for something a little different from the run-of-the-mill.
The Ringing the Changes exhibition has become a popular annual fixture at this wonderful gallery, and this year’s is looking to be no different. Visitors can expect bold statement mixed-media rings from Poppy Norton, sculptural 3D CAD designed rings by Lynne MacLachlan, ornate botanical cocktail rings by BBC 2’s All that Glitters contestant Kim Styles, nature-inspired rings by Ayshe Brandts, hand-fabricated designs by Gerlinde Huth, and voluminous stone-set contemporary rings from Emily Thatcher. In fact, these are just a few of the designers set to star in the tenth iteration of this renowned annual exhibition. Running from 23rd March for three months, whether you’re buying for the most special of occasions, or simply searching for a treat for yourself, we highly recommend a visit.
What’s more, in the unlikely event that you’re unable to find what you’re looking for, you can design and make your own jewellery, including wedding rings, by booking a jewellery workshop course with Victoria herself. Perfect for crafting your own unique piece, with more than 20 years of teaching experience, Victoria will guide you through each step of the process, whether you choose a ten-week course or a special one-day workshop. All held above the gallery in her purpose-built studio, you’ll have the chance to handcraft your very own special piece of jewellery from start to finish, a piece that’s as unique as you are.
